A prayer for temptation

Father, You know what I am carrying and what I cannot fix. Meet me in this season of temptation. Give me wisdom to see what is true, courage to do what is mine to do, and humility to release what I cannot control. Use Your Word to correct fear, shame, hurry, or disappointment in me. Put wise people around me and help me receive support when I need it. Teach me to be faithful in the next step instead of demanding the whole path at once. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Make it your own.
