What is AskJesus?
AskJesus is a Christian reflection app that creates personalized, Scripture-centered responses to the questions you bring.
Is this actually Jesus?
No. AskJesus is technology, not Jesus, and it does not speak with divine authority. The name is an invitation to turn your questions toward Jesus and Scripture.
Does AskJesus use AI?
Some personalized features use OpenAI. AskJesus asks for explicit permission before sending content you enter for a personalized request, and that permission can be withdrawn from Preferences.
Is every response guaranteed to be correct?
No personalized response should be treated as infallible. Read cited passages in context, think carefully, and seek trusted guidance for important decisions.
Does it replace the Bible, prayer, or a pastor?
No. AskJesus supports reflection. It does not replace Scripture, prayer, worship, church, pastoral care, or Christian community.
Can I use AskJesus for free?
Yes. The free experience includes the core of AskJesus and 3 personalized Ask answers per month.
What does AskJesus+ include?
Plus includes unlimited personalized Ask answers, the full Guided Reads library, every Reading Plan, complete Ask and Daily history, advanced Prayer Look Back, deeper personalization, saved progress across devices, and new Plus features.
How much is AskJesus+?
AskJesus+ is $4.99 per month through Apple and renews automatically until canceled.
How do I manage, cancel, or restore my subscription?
Apple handles subscription billing and management. Use the subscription settings associated with your Apple account. Restore Purchases is available in the iPhone app.
What happens to questions I enter?
Private questions and saved faith content are used to provide the AskJesus experience and are not sold or used for third-party advertising. See the Privacy Center and Privacy Policy for complete current details.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Permanent account deletion can be initiated inside AskJesus under Account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
Should I use AskJesus during an emergency?
No. AskJesus is not an emergency service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.
